Faux Bois Tables

Created By Faux Bois Artist, Rene Romero

We are grateful to our amazing and generous donors who are helping to create a gathering spot in the oak grove around the restored tile planter.  Faux bois tables have been donated by Chico and Ann Newman in honor of Ann’s sister and brother-in-law, Cynthia and Christopher Ryan.  Darcy Mix has donated a second table in memory of her late husband, Darryl Mix.  We have several more donation opportunities for additional tables to complete our project.

These beautiful pieces of art were created by faux bois artist, Rene Romero.  Landscape architect, Sam Allen, has beautifully designed the area to accommodate these tables and three more for the future.  They are wheelchair accessible and have become a very popular place amongst the visitors of the gardens.

If you are interested in donating one of the tables, please contact info@landgardens.org. Consider honoring or doing this in memory of someone special or for any reason, we’d love your support!

Look closely and read the beautiful quotes inscribed on the tables.

“In memory of Darryl Mix “who reminded us to bloom where you are planted.”
