The Landa Gardens Conservancy organizes several co-sponsored events with partner organizations to create awareness and raise money to help maintain the grounds at Landa Library. If you are interested in co-sponsoring an event, please contact our special events team.
Landa Library Branch
Landa Library, a branch of the San Antonio Public Library, puts on many programs and events. One special event that we co-sponsor with them is Landa Boo, an annual Halloween celebration for children.
San Antonio Public Library Foundation
The mission of the San Antonio Public Library Foundation is to strengthen the library in service to our community. Together with them and Monte Vista Historical Association (MVHA) we co-sponsored the inaugural Holiday Market Third Thursday event in November that included vendor tables of art, crafts, antiques, clothing, accessories, along with an online auction!
Friends of the San Antonio Public Library
The Friends of the San Antonio Public Library – Landa Library Branch promote public use of the San Antonio Public Library and appreciation of its value as a cultural and educational asset to the community and encourage the extension and improvement of its services.
Monte Vista Historical Association
Monte Vista Historical Association, whose purpose is to encourage the preservation of the distinctive heritage of the Monte Vista area, is housed on the grounds of Landa Library. We partner together in May to host their event, Third Thursday. This event also helps kick off the Conservancy’s May Month celebration.
