 POLLINATOR HABITAT PLEDGE

Increase habitats for birds, bats, bees and butterflies

Our Community Garden is registered in the Pollinator Habitat Pledge which is part of the National Wildlife Federation’s Mayor’s Monarch Pledge. The goal is to increase habitats supportive of butterflies, bees, bats and birds. In order to qualify, gardens must contain at least six different native plants, two larval host plants, two sprint nectar plants, two autumn nectar plants and a diverse garden that blooms in the spring, summer and fall.

To plant a garden is to believe in tomorrow.
